No pants? No problem for Kristen Stewart. The actress, 33, stepped out in a statement-making, skin-baring look on Tuesday, walking the streets of New York wearing tiny beige knit briefs from Brunello Cucinelli.
While her exact look is from the pricey Italian brand’s spring 2024 collection and not yet available to purchase, a pair similar to Stewart’s retails for $1,250.
Aside from trading more traditional bottoms for something a little leggier, Stewart also sported a coordinating collared shirt from the same brand, which she left unbuttoned toward the bottom, exposing her skin-toned Victoria’s Secret bra ($40 $30).
She added a pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit with her accessories, including dark red Le Silla pumps ($605) and red-tinted Oliver Peoples sunglasses ($595), while silver Alex Streeter and Gabriela Artigas rings provided a hint of sparkle.
Stewart finished things off with a pair of sheer stockings and a small, quilted leather case from Chanel that she carried in one hand.
The outfit is one of many pants-free fashion moments the “Twilight” star has had while promoting her new film, “Love Lies Bleeding.”
Later that same day, Stewart changed into cashmere Chanel micro shorts ($2,050), which were styled with a matching top ($2,000) and black socks. She also showed up to the movie’s premiere in a racy black leotard and even wore a jockstrap for recent, controversial Rolling Stone cover.
However, the Chanel ambassador is far from the only one rocking underwear as outerwear.
Sydney Sweeney attended Paris Fashion Week in a pair of sparkly, silver hot pants, while Bianca Censori made a similar move in Milan.
Even Margot Robbie brought the pantsless trends to the Oscars, attending the Vanity Fair Oscars party in a golden, vintage Mugler bodysuit.
But skipping trousers or jeans in favor of itty-bitty bottoms isn’t the only way Stewart is showing off her body on this press tour.
On Monday night, she appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” wearing shimmering, see-through halter top.
We’re hoping she keeps the daring looks coming.
